Booking
A non-refundable booking fee of $50 AUD is required to secure your appointment. This amount will be taken off the total cost of your appointment. If you cancel or reschedule, the deposit will be kept on your file as a credit for future bookings.
Please note this is a calm, one-on-one space designed for your relaxation, therefore no plus-ones are permitted.
Please ensure you have read our medical conditions and contraindications prior to booking to confirm you are suitable for a head spa treatment.
Scalpology Head Spa reserves the right to decline or reschedule any treatment where a condition may affect the safety, comfort, or effectiveness of the service.
Please note, I currently accept female clients only.
Cancellation
If you cancel or reschedule within 24 hours of your appointment, the remaining balance of your treatment will be charged.
If you cancel or reschedule more than 24 hours in advance, your $50 booking fee will be held as a credit to use toward your next appointment.
Late Arrivals
Arriving 10 minutes late will incur a $20 late fee.
Arriving more than 15 minutes late will result in your appointment being classified as a no-show and the full appointment cost will be charged.
We kindly ask that you respect our time as we respect yours.
No-Shows
Failure to attend your appointment without notice will result in the full cost of the treatment being charged.
Your appointment time is reserved especially for you, and missed appointments prevent others from booking.
Refunds
scalpology does not offer refunds on any services provided. However, all services are delivered in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers (online and physical) are valid for 3 years from the purchase date and become invalid after this time. When booking, the $50 booking fee will be deducted from your voucher.
Cancellations or reschedules within 24 hours, or failure to attend, will result in the remaining appointment amount being deducted from the voucher, while more than 24 hours’ notice will keep the $50 as credit for future bookings.
We are unable to perform your treatment if you:
-are Pregnant (for your safety and comfort, we recommend waiting until after pregnancy)
-are currently undergoing chemotherapy or recent cancer treatment in the last 6 months
-have excessive or severe scalp conditions (you may be referred to a dermatologist)
-have high or low blood pressure
-have sunburn, open wounds, or broken skin on the scalp
-have cardiovascular conditions, circulation disorders, or a history of thrombosis
-experience severe headaches or migraines
Please note that a head spa treatment is not a substitute for medical care. If you have any underlying health concerns, we recommend speaking with your GP prior to booking.
